Terms of use
Last updated: 1 August 2026
1. Operator
SortedPay is operated by Lucro Limited ("Lucro", "we", "us"), a private company limited by shares registered in Ireland (CRO 811725). Registered office: Nicholastown, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, R56 NT73, Ireland. Contact: [email protected]. Corporate site: lucro.ie.
By using SortedPay you agree to these Terms and enter a binding agreement with Lucro Limited. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
SortedPay helps freelancers create invoices, preview payment reminders, and estimate statutory late-payment interest for UK, Northern Ireland, and Ireland B2B work. Features may be demo, free, or paid (Pro) depending on what is enabled.
3. Not legal or debt advice
SortedPay is software only. Lucro Limited is not a law firm, accountant, or debt collector. Interest calculators and template wording are educational estimates. Verify Bank of England or ECB rates and local law before you claim interest or compensation. You remain responsible for every invoice, email, and claim you send.
4. Accounts and workspaces
- You must provide accurate registration information when accounts are enabled.
- Workspace data is isolated per signed-in user (or per local demo workspace). Do not attempt to access another user's workspace.
- You are responsible for activity under your account or local workspace.
- Keep credentials secure and notify us of unauthorised use.
5. Current product limits
- Invoice data may be browser-local until multi-device cloud storage is enabled.
- Chase email may be preview-only until a mail provider is connected.
- Demo "Upgrade" controls may unlock Pro features in the browser without a real charge until checkout is live.
- We may reset, throttle, or change demo environments without notice.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use SortedPay to harass, misrepresent amounts owed, send unlawful content, spam, or attack the service. You must have a lawful basis to contact the people you invoice.
7. Intellectual property
The SortedPay product, branding, and site content (excluding your invoice content) are owned by Lucro Limited or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content only to provide the service.
8. Paid plans (when live)
When real billing is connected, prices, renewals, taxes, and refunds will be stated at checkout and may update these Terms. Demo upgrade buttons do not create a paid contract with Lucro Limited until payment succeeds through an authorised merchant of record.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lucro Limited is not liable for lost invoices, missed payments, incorrect interest figures, browser data loss, third-party outages, or downtime. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer rights).
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or abuse. You may stop using SortedPay at any time and delete local workspace data from your browser or request account deletion by email.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Irish courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
